Gecko Lizzard Grooms Cake

This colorful sugarpaste gecko caught everyone by surprise at Nick & Blaise's wedding in Poughkeepsie, NY. This groom's cake was created for a gecko-loving-groom as a gift from his bride. The house, rocks, sand, and lizzard are totally edible and realistic.

This cake would be a great centerpiece for a young boy's birthday party or as a gag gift if placed in an glass aquarium!

The cake flavor included devilish chocolate cake with vanilla Italian buttercream.

Signature Nastursham Cupcakes: Cupcakes decorated with edible organic flower blossoms

Signature CupCakes for a Wedding in South Dartmouth

We created 250 cupcakes for a wedding at Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The weddings colors were autumn shades of deep reds, burnt orange, cranberry, and hunter green we coordinated the nastursham and mallow flower blossoms from Lucky Field Organics farm with the wedding colors. We used three cupcake stands, two of our small stands (hold 40-70 cupcakes each) and one of our medium stands (holds 100-120 cupcakes. The blossoms are totally edible and taste a little peppery (yum)!

The cupcake flavors included: cafe mocha w/espresso buttercream, pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese icing, and vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream

Double Bows and Presents

Here are Jessica's Bridal Shower and Wedding Cakes.

The Bridal Shower Cake featured another bow- only this time on a very sweet gift box of devilish chocolate cake with truffle filling!

The Wedding Cake featured white fondant with double bows at the base of each tier. Her linens, in a beautiful white and black brocade, were a perfect match to her the shiny satin ribbon. The monogram script topper, was handcast from sugarpaste.

The Marine & His Bride

We were touched to be able to create a elegantly patriotic wedding cake for a marine and his bride. The wedding colors were red, white and blue but the bride wanted something elegant with her favorite flowers: calla lillies. As I sketched cakes for Erin, I came up with the idea of fondant draping to look like a wedding dress along with silver bow loops, white calla lillies and blue lily of the valley to bring the patriotic theme together. She loved the sketch and here is the final cake. The topper was a dancing bride and Marine. We hand painted a stripe down the pant leg of the groom to indicate his rank.

The cake was altnernating layers of devilish chocolate and vanilla butter cake with vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache filling.
Best of Luck!
