Two Tiered Elmo Cake

This two tiered buttercream cake was created for a Elmo Sesame Street cake for a 2nd birthday party. Bright colors, tiny block letters, and balloons decorate the sides of the cake. A 3-D Elmo sits atop the top tier made out of sugarpaste. I love tiered cakes that include an inscription on the side, it stands out so well!

Whimsical & Sculpted: Tea Pot Cake

We created this fun and whimsical tea pot cake for a little girls tea party! Bright colors or hot pink, royal blue, kelly green, and pearl white were the colors of the day.

Tiny flowers filled the tea pot on tiny stems with green leaves. Squiggly pearls jump out from the cake as well!

We included the inscription on the side of the cake and a string of pearls makes the perfect finish at the base of each tier.

We delivered this cake to Marion, Massachusetts.

Whimsical & Sculpted: Jester Cake

We created this two tiered fondant cake for a little girls birthday party on the North Shore of Massachusetts. It's tall diamonds and fun bold colors make it a great addition to an Alice in Wonderland or Court Jester themed party. Fun handmade sugar flowers and 3D pearl shooting out of the top make a great presentation. A plaque from sugarpaste was added with a Happy Birthday inscription!

Monsterous CupCakes

We created these cupcakes for a Kids' Table at a wedding recently held at Wamsutta Club in New Bedford. I love the idea of a kids' table and for that matter "Kid's Only" CupCakes - can't you remember going to weddings as a youngster and waiting for the cake to be served and falling asleep well before the ceremonial cake cutting!

Tinkerbelle Themed 4th Birthday

Fairy dust, mushrooms, whimsical flowers and leaves adorned this two tiered Tinkbelle themed 4th birthday cake.

Each year we create a spectacular cake for Ava- and this year she was able to choose her own theme-- Tinkerbelle! Jodi (our resident artist) created the mushrooms, daisies, and ribbon roses as well as trays and trays of leaves to cover the cake. My favorite part was the bow- a simple two loop classic bow in a pale lavendar.

Actually my most favorite part of the cake was Ava's individual cake- I think it would make a great topper for a cupcake stand with mushroom and daisy cupcakes below-- watch for that on the blog soon- I think we'll make a sample up for the studio!
