We recently created this fun assortment of whimiscal and pastel cupcakes for a birthdat party!

Sugar Polka Dots & Pastel Whimisical Flowers top each cupcake! I love the contrast of the colored vanilla buttercream frosting along with the chocolate buttercream.

Tiered Butercream Cake: Kayak and Wave Cake with Woodgrain Happy Birthday Sign in Chocolate

We created this two tiered buttercream cake for a celebration recently, a sugarpaste yellow kayak highlights the tiers- complete with paddle along with a chocolate woodgrain sign which is inscribed with a birthday wish. I particularly like the perfectly-to-scale life jacket which Jody created!

Sydney's Plane Day Cake: Pirates

We are so lucky to work with such great clients and Karen and Sydney are no exception!

Every special occasion and holiday in their house is celebrated with one of our cakes (usually chocolate cake- specifically!)

The latest creation was for Sydney's Plane Day celebration and this years' theme: Pirates! The cake flavor: Jack Sparrow Chocolate Cake (thanks for the idea, Karen!)


Dear Meredith, THANKS once again for such another wonderful cake! EVERYONE especailly Sydney loved the cake you made!! The decor was fabulous, I could not believe you put the hem line on his head kerchief!!!!!!!!Talk about details!! Sydney's favorite part-------HIS EAR!!! Yes, she could not wait to rip his ear off the cake and eat it!!! Your old Kindergarten teacher was very proud of you as she was basking in chocolate heaven!! Thanks again. Sculpted Cake: Spiderman in Black

We created this sculpted black spiderman cake: mask and shoulders. Black fondant and hand piped buttercream spider web design on the bodice along with Spiderman's signature eye mask design complete the design.

Round Buttercream Birthday Cake: Elmo on Pink Buttercream Cake

I just love the simplicity of this round buttercream cake with a sugarpaste Elmo in flat art. So cute in pinks & oranges for a little girl.

Teal & Starfish @ Whaling Museum, New Bedford Waterfront, Massachusetts

This three tiered white buttercraeam cake with teal grosgrain ribbon at base includes simple decor of real starfish and tiny pearl bubble dots, the center tier includes a piped buttercream border of classic ocean waves.

We delivered this vanilla butter cake with chocolate ganache filling to the gorgeous Whaling Museum on the historic waterfront in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
